NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Florida A&M Men's Track participated in the Edward S. Temple Classic, this past Saturday, hosted by Tennessee State University.

FAMU had 15 top five finishers with Philip Sylvester and Kevin Elliott leading the way. Sylvester won the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.39, while Elliott won the triple jump with a distance of 14.68 meters.

The Rattlers had a trio second place finishes in the pole vault, triple jump and the one mile run. Michael White in the pole vault with a height of 3.81 meters, Edwisht Olman in the triple jump with a distance of 14.58 meters and Carlos Franklin in the one mile run with a time of 4:26.90.
