Krista Richardson put the Lady Rattlers on the board in the bottom of the third inning scoring on a FSU pitcher's wild pitch, cutting the Seminoles lead to 5-1.
The Seminole scored another run in the top of the fifth, when Collins grounded out to second scoring Gilmore, making the score 6-1, in favor of FSU.
In the top of the seventh, FSU picked up three runs for the 9-1 final. The Seminoles scored first on an Ashley Stager RBI triple scoring Gilmore; then Gilmore would score on an Osmon ground out to second, followed by a Collins homer to left field.
