TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The University of Tennessee scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning en route to a 5-1 victory over the Florida A&M Women's Softball team in the final day of the USF Best Western Invitational at the USF Softball Stadium Monday morning.

The Lady Vols (9-1) had five hits total Monday, scoring five runs on four hits, aided by one FAMU error in the fourth innings.

Florida A&M (2-7) pushed across their lone tally in the top of the sixth, when Alacia Strafford's RBI single drove home Rhianna Green, who had reached base on a error earlier in the inning.

Tiffany Chan (1-3) got the decision pitching-wise for FAMU, allowing five runs on five hits with four walks in six innings.

FAMU finished the game with three hits, with Green, Strafford and Nikki Terryn each getting singles in Monday's game.

The Lady Rattlers will close out their Invitational schedule later Monday against Florida Gulf Coast University, with the first pitch slated for 1:30 p.m.
