The Florida A&M Women's Tennis team saw their hopes of a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference title dashed here Saturday morning, as they dropped a 4-0 decision to defending champion South Carolina State at the Millbrook Tennis Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The 2007 U.S. Open will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Althea Gibson's historic title victory at the U.S. National Championships in 1957 with an Opening Night celebration themed, "Breaking Barriers."
