June 11, 2007 TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida A&M's Head Women's Tennis Coach Rochelle "Nikki" Goldthreate announced the signing of Latreece Olagbegi to a National Letter Intent, Monday for the 2007-08 season. Olagbegi, a 5-6 incoming freshman from Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Ga., was named the team's Most Valuable Player of the Year, two years in a row (2006, 2007) and is a two-time conference Player of the Year (2006, 2007).
This past season, Goldthreate was named the 2007 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Coach of the Year, as she led the Lady Rattlers to a fourth place finish with a 7-3 record in the MEAC and a 10-11 overall record.
