FAMU WOMEN'S TRACK TEAM FINISHES 11TH AT MEAC OUTDOORS

The Florida A&M University Track teams battled valiantly but finished in the lower half of the final standings at the conclusion of competition at the 2008 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships here Saturday at Earl Banks Stadium on the campus of Morgan State University.

The Florida A&M Women's Outdoor Track and Field Team participated in the 2008 FSU Relays, here Saturday afternoon at Mike Long Track, where the Lady Rattlers collected eleven top 15 finishes.

The Florida A&M Women's Track team chalked up eight Top Ten finishes this weekend in the Florida State Snowbird Invitational at the Mike Long Track Complex.

Senior Jeanna Dorcelin topped the FAMU crew with a win in the 400 meter hurdles (1:02.27), with Latoya Wright (1:02.76) finishing third.

The Florida A&M Women's Track team turned in a strong performance this weekend at the 58th Annual FAMU Relays, snapping up 15 Top Ten finishes, including five first place victories.

The 58th Annual FAMU Relays completed its' first day of competition despite heavy thunderstorms early in the morning and rain showers and occasional thunder until about mid afternoon here at the Pete Griffin Track Complex.
