CLEMSON, S.C. - The Florida A&M Women's Indoor Track and Field team participated in the Clemson Invitational, here Saturday afternoon at the Clemson University Track and Field Complex.
FAMU had four Lady Rattlers to finish in the top 15 in their event with Florence Drysdale leading the way finishing sixth in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 19:51.18.
The Lady Rattlers 4x400 team of Latoya Wright, Jeanna Dorcelin, Ashley Gillis and Nakia Daniels took sixth with a time of 3:58.17, while the team of Nichola Listhrop, Kelle Ransom, Nastassia Friday and YaTandrea Burke, took seventh in the Women's Distance Medley with a time of 13:17.33.
Ashley Gillis and Conchita Russell, both took 11th in their event with Gillis finishing with a time of 7.75 in the 60-meter dash and Russell with a time of 9.07 in the 60-meter hurdles.
